Jordan Reaves, MA, Founder and CEO of The Pillars Of Hope, Inc is a North Carolina native, currently residing in the DMV area serving as an academic advisor for adult learners pursuing an IT certification at one of the most sought after charter schools in DC. Her passion for helping people, creating community, and inspiring others has pushed her into many avenues of leadership, service opportunities, and the creative arts world. As an HBCU graduate of the Winston-Salem State University she has utilized her gifts in many capacities such as being Miss Omega Psi Phi, a Crush Model Magazine Cover Model, a finalist in the Competition of Black College Queens, sponsored by the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, and serving as Miss Winston-Salem State University! She was also the 2018 Best Talent Award recipient in the Miss Moore County Pageant. Jordan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Life Coaching from Liberty University & is also a Certified Entrepreneurship Educator through the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE).
As she continued to pursue her dreams and goals she began to develop a deeper passion for service, and ultimately for people. She has worked in the non-profit sector for a number of years tapping into all areas of the organizational structure. Being able to be a part of the impact the non-profit organizations produced inspired her to step out on faith and create her own, as she saw the need for these same resources and opportunities in her own backyard. Since its conception, The Pillars of Hope, Inc has curated community events, programs, & opportunities that provide resources, inspiration, passion and a push into purpose. Jordan’s ultimate goal is to help inspire & encourage others to be the best version of themselves & to pursue their dreams.
Jade Morris is a native of Buffalo, NY and currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband and daughter. She graduated from SUNY Buffalo State with her BA in Sociology and then from LSU with her MBA. Currently she is working in the commercial mortgage lending sector while running two start ups, The Beauty Boutique a Hair and Makeup service and Morris Family Enterprises a real estate investment firm.
In her free time she is the co-director of the Children's Church Ministry at her church and the co-founder of the non-profit Infinite Women Empowered. Jade believes 'it is never too late to be who you always wanted to be' and tries to empower all those she comes into contact with based off of this.
Talia is a native of North Carolina with a background in Health and Human Services. Talia currently holds the position of Family Centered Treatment (FCT) State Training Director. In this position, she guides and develops Practitioners in the implementation of FCT, a systemic trauma treatment modality. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the renowned Winston-Salem State University and her Master’s Degree from Liberty University. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.
Previously, Talia has held positions of Director of Operations, QA/QI Coordinator, Director of Community Service and Program Director. She also served as the President/Chair for the Gaston County Child Community Collaborative in 2018-2019. Additionally, she wrote and received grant-funding approvals by the Gaston and Lincoln Child and Adult Collaboratives for community trainings in 2016. She was also a breakout session facilitator for the inaugural FCT National Conference in 2018 and recently invited back, where she presented during the FCT National Conference in April 2022. She has an abundance of supplementary certifications, to include training facilitation, coaching and total wellness.
Furthermore, Talia is also a Registered Yoga Teacher-200. While earning this certification, she also obtained membership in the International Board of Coaches and Practitioners as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and is a certified Ayurveda Specialist. In addition, she is a Licensed Real Estate Broker. In her spare time, spending time with friends and family and trying new adventures is what she enjoys!
Kyle Brown is a native of Kinston, NC and 2016 honors graduate of Winston-Salem State University where he obtained his BA in Political Science and minor in Biology. While at Winston-Salem State University, Kyle was heavily involved with various student organizations such as the Student Government Association serving as Student Government Association President and a member of the Winston-Salem State University Board of Trustees and Foundation Board of Directors. During his undergraduate experience Kyle was the student chair and representative for the universities Strategic Plan Committee and an intern for the university’s Office of Advancement while being a 4-year member of the WSSU Honors Program.
In 2015, Kyle was selected as a White House Ambassador for Historically Black Colleges and Universities serving as the liaison for the United States Department of Education and the Historical Black Colleges and Universities in North Carolina. After graduation, Kyle began a career working for Nationwide Insurance in the field of Digital Marketing and has launched his career in diversity recruiting with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund supporting the 47 Public HBCUs. Kyle recently transitioned to digital tech startup Red Ventures to lead their diversity recruiting and HBCU strategy. Since moving to Charlotte, NC he has been actively involved with the Charlotte Urban League Young Professionals serving as the professional development chair and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Aleacia Lambert is an experienced early child care educator and provider, she is a licensed life coach and event coordinator with over 20 years of experience. During those 20 years of early education, she has owned and operated two child care facilities in the Richmond and Moore County areas. Aleacia is a certified administrator, an American red cross first aid and CPR instructor and an ordained minister. Aleacia is driven by self development and takes pride in providing the best quality of service possible. As an early childhood educator, her goals are to make a lifelong impact in the lives of those she comes into contact with. In addition to her primary job functions, Aleacia has been recognized by the Richmond County Partnership for Families and Children for her extraordinary commitment to being a front line essential worker during the pandemic.
Aleacia has been married for 25 years to her highschool sweetheart, Mr. Lee Lambert Jr. and is the proud mother of six beautiful children. She is currently a resident of Hoke County and has been for the past nine years. Aleaica seeks to continue her legacy by opening more facilities and is currently in the developmental stages of her own curriculum for ages birth to 12. By being a board member of The Pillars of Hope, she wishes to bring the impactful standard of “reaching them while they're young” and making every effort intentional. Aleacia lives by the quote ”It takes a big heart to help shape little minds." We spend a portion of our adult life repairing our early childhood years.
Christian Noble is a loving father and husband, from Chicago, IL, with a commitment of 8 years experience within workforce development and community engagement. He received his BA from the illustrious Paine College in Augusta GA and a Masters of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design. He brings a plethora of knowledge and intricate skills that allow others to feel confident in pursing their career/job search goals.
